Gaia is composed of a number of interlinked, beaded elements. The opulent, central crystal is flanked at the compass points by four smaller, pear-shaped crystals, connected by an orbital ring structure. More rings are used for the bail and for aesthetic effect to balance the shape. This design is worked almost exclusively in Hubble stitch, in its various forms, and students can choose to work the smaller or larger version of the pendant.
Techniques: Hubble Stitch (Basic, HorSO, VerSO, Inverted and Wave) and Peyote.
Suitable for intermediate and advanced beaders. Some working knowledge of Hubble stitch required
