Designed by Justine Gage.
Andromeda Stars is a peyote stitch pattern, for a series of different sized stars, which are all reversible. They are designed to go on a long chain, where either side might be visible.
This is an optical illusion, we build out the corners of a ring, with beads that match the central rivoli, or bead. This gives the star-shaped appearance. All versions start the same way, but with different numbers of repeats of the starting beads. The backs are different for each size.
When finished, we use the 8/0 corner beads to join the stars together, with jump rings.
