This tutorial is for a 10 strand 'Laramie' wire focal necklace. Laramie is a variation of an old European straw-plaiting braid, that was
adapted by Shirley Berlin and Carol Godwin for the Kumihimo disk.
The tutorial will contain the layout pattern as well as the basic instructions of Kumihimo braiding with 10 strands. It will produce a hollow wire braid that can be used as a focal piece in a necklace. It has a very distinctive spiral pattern and when filled with silver lined beads has a beautiful sparkly core.
Level: Some experience of kumihimo
Technique: Kumihimo
